It's Christmas next week. Another year has ended and a new one is approaching. Wanna hear a secret? I never thought i'd make it so far in life. I always thought that the world will end before i reached a certain stage in my life. In the past, i couldn't imagine myself sitting for the o levels, and it has now been 4 years. Then, i couldn't imagine myself having attachment in poly, it seemed awkward at that point of time. A year has passed since then. I never saw myself as a working adult, earning my own income, i never thought i was up to a job. Now, i work my ass off for my income. I never imagined that i'd go to university. I'll be going in 7 weeks. How time flies.
Speaking of time. It amazes me how much things change in such a short period. We tend to forget things so easily. It's been more than half a year since Sheena passed, and i've only gone to see her once. Sometimes i wonder if we've forgotten abit of her with everyday that passes. Disappointing, people are. I wonder if she's in Heaven looking at us and shaking her head. I wonder if my mummy is shaking her head at me.

"Glo......ria in excelsis deo" I'm in a really christmassy mood all of a sudden. I love christmas. It always makes people so happy. I think about the children in homes that will receive christmas gifts, i think about the salvation army ringing the bell for donations, i listen to the christmas carols, i sing christmas songs with my sunday school kids. I think about the beginings of christmas, and i feel happy. Happy that i have been so blessed. I love Christmas.
I had sunday school last week. Szeling brought Royston for the 1st time and i was so glad to see him with the kids too. While i was sitting in worship with he kids, this song came to mind, it's one of Nat's favourites:

Therefore i feel like i cannot blame anyone or anything for my despair and desperation. I didn't or haven't seeked the kingdom of God in a really long time. It's starting to become very apparent. He always gave me what i wanted. He always kept me safe. He was always there to guide me and give me peace, but i have drifted so far from my Father i seem so lost. But going back is always so difficult. I lack the disipline. How do you be in this world but not be part of it? I wish i knew and i wish i could.
Anyway, i REALLY feel like i'm leaving soon. On saturday, my dad and i went shopping and he bought me my winter coat and computer stuff and we were looking at luggages. I'm so not ready to leave yet. Not mentally, emotionally ready to leave. I have alot of unfinished business. Yes. I now i'm not leaving forever, but that's like so beyond the point. Try living 4 months without rice or mee pok. See if you'll still be sane. Phbbbt!

So sorry for the lack of update. I've just been on leave and went to KL for a short trip. Went with Nat and Elaine. It was pretty alright. Nothing extremely exciting. JUst that i forgot to bring my credit card and had only 100rm with me i cash. Thank goodness for nat's clever brain that i had my money transfered to her account and thus could withdraw some cash to use.
I have 3 more weeks of work let before i officially become a bummer once again. I can't wait. Even though i know i'll miss working because i'll be totally friendless and bored at home. he grass is always greener on the other side yes?
Seriously scared of going to study. I'm not really sure i can anymore. It's been way too long a time. I miss tutorials and lectures and skipping them. At the same time i'm not sure if i can get back into that "studying mode". I haven't been to school in about 1.5 years, my last memory of classes is my vet science lab sessions. I don't even remember much of how classes were like. The good thing about working is that at the end of the day, no matter how tired you are, work is over. That's it. You don't have to bring work home. When you're studying, there never really is an end. There will always still be revision and exams and the next semester to prepare for. It's continuous. Maybe that's why i never do well. I tire easily, hence, studying just taxes me out. *excuses excuses*
Anyway, i have to work late again tonight. NUS is having one of their bashes and The Face Shop is the Official Make Up. I have to go down as a representative. I'm glad that i don't have to work tomorrow.
Another weekend is here. Time seems to pass so quickly and so slowly at the same time. So quickly because i only have another 8 weekends left before i leave for studies, so slowly because i still have to work!! Please catch me if you can.
