There. Pffft. It's been a pretty good week. I got an assignment done and i went for Lewei's birthday gathering and it was a blast and i talked to my babe on the phone today and it was friggin awesome! Haha. So all is good for now!!! WEEE!!!

Oh my goodness. I swear i would much rather do anything else other than my work. Well, to my own defense, i have actually managed to write all of 2 sentence and did the required work for the 'appendix' section of my assignment. So much right? I know. Just kill me now.

While denying the existence of my work, i was watching So You Think You Can Dance (oz version) on tv and i found myself missing my band days. They were playing songs like 'Tequila' and 'La Bam Ba' in the back ground and i really wished i could pick up my trumpet and play along. Used to really enjoy playing even though i was never really very good at it. Hah. There's something strangely empowering, being able to play a song in it's entirety.

The other thing that struck me this week during the time i actually went to school was the thought that i might possibly be around on this earth another 60 years (if i lead a long healthy life which is highly unlikely considering my lifestyle). I'm taking this 'Ageing' unit this semester and it's seriously a depressing unit. Talking about growing old and losing loved ones and dying. All very morbid. But then, the other day, the lecturer was telling us that in affluent countries, the average lifespan of women is 83 years. So assuming i manage to live till then, i have 60 more years to live. I am going to get so insanely bored! What am i going to do with myself for the next 60 years?! Also, out of the next 60 years i have left to live, 40 of those years will be spent working! Goodness! That's a really ling time you know! What's the hurry man... i should take my time and do everything i want to do before starting work. Then, assuming i get sick or something and i don't manage to live till 83 and i die at 65 or 70, i will technically have worked my entire life! I wouldn't have done any actual LIVING. Man life sucks. Therefore, ive decided, i will not do anything that makes me unhappy. It's so not worth it in the end. Oh! And for my assignment, i had to trace the health conditions that are prevalent through 3 generations of my family and it turns out, i am most susceptible to cancer. Wee!!!

I hate uni.

Day 2. Large cable car ride up to Seoul Tower. Not a fan of the cable car but i loved loved loved the snow!!!!! There's something magical about snow you know, the whole place just changes colour and it's almost impossible to be in a bad mood in a snowy place. Then there are pictured of leenie and jie eating Ginseng Chicken which was basically chicken stuffed with glutinous rice in a ginseng soup. Yummy as it was, it's not something i would choose off a menu. Then at night, we had beef table bbq and THAT was awesome!! Haha. I think i like anything that's unhealthy and high in cholesterol and crcinogenic. Haha.

Think it's about time to show you guys some pictures of my Korea trip. This was day 1. Landed in Seoul bright and early in the morning and headed off immediately to the set of Full House. It was quite fun really. There something really surreal about being in a place that you've watched on tv (just like NYC!). Basically just walked around the set and palyed around with the props. As you can prolly tell by the heavy coats, it was COLD! But i decided that i like the cold better than the heat. So it was all good. Haha.
